USF added two junior college transfers Wednesday -- defensive back Torrel Saffold and linebacker Rahmon Swain.

The two were teammates at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kan. Both are expected to enroll for the spring semester and will have two years of eligibility starting in 2013.

Saffold played in 20 games over his two seasons at Butler CC. As a sophomore in 2012, he registered 52 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions, 14 pass breakups and a fumble recovery in 12 games to earn honorable mention all-conference honors.

Swain posted 139 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 14.5 TFL, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 21 games during his two seasons at Butler CC. He notched 83 tackles, 4.5 sacks, eight TFL, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 12 games this past season, while helping Butler to an 11-1 record and a berth in the NJCAA national championship game.
