There are many ways of connecting with your prospects so they will know who you are and what you have to offer. The methods that have been most powerful for me include hosting teleseminars, setting up free membership sites, and using social media in a strategic manner. All three of these methods take some time and effort to set up and implement, but will pay off for years to come as your business grow.
Allowing someone to hear your voice is the next best thing to meeting with them in person. This powerful form of communication will allow your prospects to have the opportunity and experience of hearing what you have to say on your topic. I recommend hosting your own free calls, interviewing others in your niche, and being a guest on other people?s teleseminars. Remember that you are creating a product every time you speak, and that you can package up your teleseminars to sell or to give as bonuses for your other products and courses.
A free membership site is another way to connect on a deeper level with your prospects. By giving them easy access to your content and information you take them away from the noise of other people in your field. You can create on new report or audio training each month, and have people log in to download it. Allow them to ask questions in the member?s area as well, giving them another way to learn more from you. This is an excellent model if you want to move on to a paid membership model in the future.
Social media sites, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, can really suck your time and energy, but this doesn?t have to be the way if you are strategic about how you approach them each day. Set aside fifteen minutes in the morning and fifteen minutes in the evening to log in to the sites and see what your community is doing, and also to leave a comment or two. Then post a picture or a link that will let people know what you are working on. This strategy saves you time while also getting your message out to the world. I think of social media as another way to connect with my prospects and to be visible to more people than I would typically be able to access on a daily basis.
You can see that there are a variety of ways to connect with your prospects to build your business. Experiment with teleseminars, membership sites, and social media marketing to see which ones resonate with you and bring the greatest results.
